The R;pple Effect
Josh was just 21 years old when he took his own life on the 25th of November 2020.
He had been researching suicide methods and techniques over the internet, and there was nothing in existence to protect him or signpost him to support.
To ensure help and support are given to individuals searching for harmful content online, his sister, Alice, set up R;pple - a digital crisis intervention tool that is currently protecting close to 2 million people, intercepting thousands of harmful online searches, and continually saving lives from suicide.
We host the R;pple Effect Event in memory of Josh, honouring the significant positive impact his life and death have had on many people. We aim to raise funds for R;pple to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention and encourage more individuals and organisations to deploy R;pple to safeguard their peers.
